Carbquik Low Carb White Bread

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 cup LifeSource Wheat Protein Isolate 8000
  • 1 3/8 cup Tova Carbquik
  • 1 cup LifeSource Foods Wheat Protein Isolate 5000
  • 1/8 cup LifeSource Foods Resistant Wheat Starch
  • 1 tsp. Guar Gum
  • 2 tsp. Xanthan Gum
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. Splenda
  • 1 packet rapid rise yeast

Preparation Instructions:

Combine all of the dry ingredients in a glass mixing bowl. Combine all of the wet ingredients in an electric mixing bowl. With the paddle, mix the wet ingredients for about 1 minute on low, then add the dry ingredients and mix well until combined. Change the paddle for the dough hook and knead with the hook for 4 - 5 minutes. Turn the dough into a glass bread dish, cover and let rise for 1 - 2 hours in a warm location until dough doubles. The dough will be quite sticky. When dough has doubled in size, bake it in a preheated 350 degree oven for 40 minutes until golden brown.

Each slice is approximately 1 carb.
