June 12, 2019Reviewer: Terri in California* I have been having this for breakfast cooked with unsweetened vanilla almond milk as a “faux” oatmeal. I like it. It’s good and filling, keeping me full for hours, no blood sugar impact, but I still need to work on my execution. I am making it in a coffee cup: 1/4 C TVP & 1 C milk, stevia & cinnamon... and it frequently boils over messily in the microwave.

March 06, 2010Reviewer: Cathy in Illinois* Bob's Red Mill TVP works great with beans and other items to make great vegetarian dishes. Even my non-vegan husband eats this when made into a meatloaf or bean burgers. Great stuff, easy to work with, and tasty.

I've added it to soups (with spices when rehydrating) and made faux rice pudding (plenty of cinnamon & nutmeg). Next, I'm going to try making stuffed peppers!
