I had said that after mixing the ingredients together following the instructions exactly, I ended up with large clumps floating on top of the liquid. They looked like clumps of fat. After mixing again with a hand mixer, I still couldn't get the lumps to mix in. So I put it into the freezer as instructed hoping that after it came out of the ice cream maker that I would have ice cream. Not a chance! I put the lumpy mess into my ice cream maker and within 5 minutes the bowl stopped turning and the machine was struggling. The clumps were preventing it from turning. I turned it off so the motor wouldn't burn out. Needless to say, I had no ice cream after all of my efforts. If anybody else is having this problem and have resolved it, please put in a review with that solution. I now have three more packages of ice cream mix that will go to waster otherwise.This review is specific to Ice Cream Mix, Vanilla

IF the $8 (on sale) price made 1 half gallon (note to LC - 1 half gallon = 2 quarts) then this would be cost effective vs. buying a very satisfactory low carb ice cream from my local freezer case a pint at a time. Unfortunately, this mix makes about a quart max even when using our sophisticated home ice cream maker. The taste is OK, but I won't be ordering again. I guess if your local grocery only sells the 'no sugar added' varieties this might appeal, but be forewarned that your yield will be 1 qt not 1 half gallon as stated on the label.
